Discover Amsterdam’s fab countryside by bike, with your local queer & fabulous expert.
Around Amsterdam, you will find the most scenic Dutch landscapes. Just outside of the city, around the corner, you’ll find yourself in the stunning countryside of the Netherlands. Which is as diverse as all these amazing letters LGBTQI+ nd our allies. You’ll find everything The Netherlands is famous for: polders, authentic Dutch villages, windmills, small Dutch towns, and of course cows and sheep.

The Dutch countryside isn’t so different from us queers and allies, as they are both absolutely fabulous. The only difference is that the landscape is flat-like-a-pancake, while we come in ALL beautiful shapes and forms.

Starting point
At street level, outside of Muiderpoortstation, in between the two platforms ( you can see them both when you look up) there is a tiny roundabout and an orange mailbox. We will meet behind that orange mailbox, in the middle of the roundabout/square.
You will recognize me by my tiny rainbow flag.
From there, together we walk to Oostpoort shopping area to pick up our bikes at:
