Meet Sanne, your queer tour guide
Hi, I'm Sanne! LGBTOUR Amsterdam's founder, your queer Amsterdam local, professional storyteller, and countryside enthusiast.
As your local guide, I bring together queers and allies from all over the world to explore the pink and historic heart of Amsterdam in a way that's personal, welcoming, and deeply human. My tours go beyond facts and landmarks; they create connection, spark conversation, and make space for every identity in the group.
“Diversity & inclusion flows through my veins and is expressed in all my work.”
Through the power of personal storytelling, I've spent years creating inclusive spaces in workplaces, classrooms, and sports clubs. That same passion shapes every tour: thoughtful, joyful, and rooted in the belief that our differences are something to celebrate, together.
I created this tour to offer something beyond the city center. A chance to breathe, connect, and experience the Netherlands in a way that feels authentic and inclusive. My tours are in English, but since I'm bilingual, Dutch is available on request.
I can't wait to ride with you!

FAQ about our queer bike tour
1 / What should I wear?
Dress comfortably and check the weather before you leave. The north of Amsterdam can be a little windier (hello, Dutch drama 🌬️), so bring an extra layer in your backpack just in case. And darling… leave those pretty heels at home. 👠
2 / What should I bring for the tour?
The essentials: water bottle, a few easy-to-eat snacks (think protein bars), sunscreen if the weather is warm and sunny and extra layers if needed.
3 / Is prior cycling experience required to join the tour?
As long as you can ride a bike, you should be fine! 😄
