Families of all sorts are welcome for LGBTour Amsterdam's kid-friendly and creativity-centered experience in the vibrant, multicultural neighborhood of 'De Pijp'.

Shayna, a local queer artist and educator, will be your guide for this 3-hour journey that's packed with hands-on fun for all ages. We'll be investigating invisibility on a special sensory scavenger hunt at the famous Albert Cuyp Market. Then, we'll make some art together in the historic Sarphatipark. Plus much more!

It's a perfect way for kids and their parents or caregivers to discover (or rediscover) the Pijp while exploring the biggest street market in the Netherlands. You'll get a multi-perspective view of the area and gain special insights into yourself, your kiddo(s), and your group.

Who is your guide?

Meet Shayna

Hi! I’m Shayna. I’m an Amsterdam-based artist and experienced art educator. I love working with groups, sharing stories and using creativity to connect people -- with themselves, each other, and the world around them.

As a queer parent, I also know the peace of mind it brings to find welcoming and safe activities that you can enjoy together as an LGBTQIA+ family. I'm thrilled to join Sanne’s team at LGBTour Amsterdam and offer you and your curious youngsters just that: creativity-centered experiences of Amsterdam for families of all sorts.

Eastern entrance of the Albert Cuyp Market (Albert Cuypmarkt), at the corner of Van Woustraat and Albert Cuypstraat. Meet under the big blue artwork gate. See the picture on the left.

Family of 2 (one adult + one child age 3-18): €69

Family packages:

Family of 3: (at least 1 adult + up to 2 children): €94

Ages 0-2 join for free.
Kids under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent, or by a trusted caregiver with express permission from their primary caregiver.
Ticket price includes use of art supplies and take-away art project.
Food and drink costs are not included in the ticket price.
All ages are welcome! Activities are best for age 5 and up; younger kids might need assistance from their caregiver.
This tour is designed for kids and their parents/caregivers, so individual tickets are not available. However, the package options provide flexibility for family groups of all sorts -- including chosen family, of course. For example, the Family of 3 package can be 2 adults and 1 child, or 1 adult and 2 children; the Family of 4 package can be 1, 2, or 3 adults with 3, 2, or 1 children.
